Discover the Republic of
San Marino
with Local Guide Sara Antonelli
Welcome to San Marino, the oldest republic in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008,
a hidden gem surrounded by Italy, that promises history, charm, and breathtaking views.
According to legend, this country was founded in 301 AD, by Marino, a humble stonemason from Dalmatia, who built a refuge on Mount Titano. From its mountain peaks, you will enjoy spectacular panoramas stretching from the blue Adriatic Sea to the green hills of the Montefeltro Valley, a landscape that enchants every visitor.
A Guided Journey Through History and Beauty
Join me on a guided walking tour of San Marino to discover its medieval old town, a fascinating maze of narrow streets, towers, and ancient walls.
Together we will explore:
-
The Piazza della Libertà, home to the elegant Government Building and the Statua della Libertà
-
The majestic Basilica del Santo, dedicated to Saint Marino
-
The imposing Three Towers of San Marino, perched dramatically on Mount Titano
Each corner reveals a story: centuries of freedom, art, and legend preserved in this extraordinary republic.
Taste, Shop, and Experience San Marino Like a Local
After exploring, indulge in one of San Marino’s many traditional restaurants, serving authentic dishes from the Romagna and Marche regions, paired with local wines and warm hospitality.
If you love shopping, the historic centre offers charming boutiques and artisan shops, where you can find unique gifts, crafts and fashion at tax-free prices.
Experience the best of San Marino: art, history, cuisine and culture, in one unforgettable tour.
